OPCC to enhance services for child sexual abuse recovery

The office of Cleveland’s Police and Crime Commissioner is to receive Home Office funding of £205,000 over two years to enhance services that help children and young people recover from sexual abuse to improve services for child victims of sexual abuse.

Easter Activity Fund

This is very short notice; please find attached information about a new grant programme the council is running. There’s not a lot of time to get this in but please be assured that turn around will be very quick.

We are inviting providers across South Tees to request funding to provide face to face enrichment activity over the Easter holidays for children and young people normally in receipt of free school meal related benefits.

£1m support package to help most vulnerable in Boro

A Winter grant fund package to help the most vulnerable during Christmas period, Feb half-term and Easter holidays has been approved by Middlesbrough Council to help support families with essential items.

The Council will issue payments totalling up to £600,000 to support parents with essential items such as food, utilities and warm clothing for their families.
