Funding

Find a Funder is a new online funding search tool brought to you by Middlesbrough Council and MVDA.

Find a Funder allows you to search through hundreds of funding opportunties from government, Lottery, charitable trusts and other sources available to voluntary sector organisations. It also includes contracting and commissioning opportunities. It's quick and easy to register, and you'll also have the option to sign up to a free funding news email.

Sometimes we come across local funding opportunities that aren't available on Find a Funder. You'll find these opportunities listed below.

Greggs Foundation Hardship Fund

The hardship fund makes small grants to individuals and families in extreme financial need. Donations are made in response to a request raised by a social organisation that works closely with individuals and families to identify an address financial hardship.

Grants are limited to £100 per applicant (£180 for white goods). The list below states the type of things you can purchase for a family:

  • Beds/Bedding
  • Essential Furnishings
  • Household Safety Equipment
  • Flooring
  • Baby Equipment
  • White Goods (including cookers)
