Business in the Community is partnering with AXA Health once again to deliver fully funded Youth Mental Health First Aid Champion training for youth leaders.
What is it and when is it happening?
This Mental Health First Aid England (MHFAE) course will be delivered over two half day sessions, online, over October and early November 2022. There are 6 different groups to choose from. The course involves some online independent learning which must be completed in advance to each training session. You will receive course material, and a certificate of completion upon attendance at both sessions and completing the online learning.
Eligibility criteria
In order to be eligible for a funded place on this course, you must be:
1. An employee/volunteer of a small, community organisation (a not-for-profit charity or otherwise registered) with approximately 50 employees or under.
2. Working directly with young people (8-18 years) on a regular basis
3. Supporting young people in one of the following locations:
- Cardiff City Region (inc. Newport)
- Leeds
- Leicester
- Teesside
4. Able to join BOTH half day sessions of at least one cohort and commit to completing the online learning in advance of each session.
