On behalf of The Department of Transport, Volunteering Matters are coordinating a nationwide volunteering programme called Journey Makers, to assist travellers at transport hubs as lockdown restrictions begin to ease.
This is a great opportunity for volunteers, new and established, to come together and make a real difference to someone’s day. With the schools due to return in September the role of a Journey Maker will be vital to the stations in and around your area.
To ensure the ongoing success of the project, Volunteering Matters are hoping you, as a Voluntary Community Organisation can support this 6-week effort by sharing this opportunity with your volunteers and wider community.
