Suicide Prevention Grassroots Funding

This funding is provided by the Tees Suicide Prevention Taskforce on behalf of Local Authorities (Hartlepool/Middlesbrough/Redcar & Cleveland/Stockton-on-Tees) through funding allocated by the second year of NHS England funding and is part of a number of initiatives that aim to reduce suicide rates in line with the national ambition of a reduction of 10% by 2020-2021. The deadline for funding is the 27 September 2019.

Criteria:
The aim of the fund is for local organisations to develop and implement community based activities that will have a positive effect on the mental health and emotional wellbeing of local male residents aged 25-65, particularly those people who are most vulnerable or isolated within our communities.

Grants available
Voluntary and community organisations can apply for grants between £1,000 and £5,000.
You must complete your project within 12 months of the date of our letter confirming the grant.

Who can apply?
Voluntary and community organisations that are working within the Tees Valley area.
