The Phoenix Way - North East meeting

The Angelou Centre's Executive Director, Umme Imam is inviting interested Voluntary and Community Organisations to an upcoming meeting of charities and organisations led by Black and racially minoritised communities as part of the Phoenix Way, a project funded by the National Lottery Community Fund (TNLCF).

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss how the communities can best organise themselves to maximise the funding opportunity from TNLCF.  I understand that you may already be working with organisations from the communities mentioned. If so, it would be great to hear about your current activities or engagement so that we can build up a full picture. Please also let me know if you would like to be kept informed of any developments from this meeting. Let me know if a call would be easier and myself or Ngozi Lyn Cole, ngozilyn@lyncole.org.uk, will contact you to set up a call.

Would you please forward the attached invitation to the community groups and charities that you’re working with as we’re keen to reach a wide range of groups led by people from Black and racially minoritised communities?
