The South Tees Carers' Forum acts as an advisory body and is in place to aid the development of the Draft South Tees Carers Strategy and Action Plan.
You are being invited to support the work of the forum by sharing your expertise and knowledge in any of the five task and finish groups (below) which will meet in December to discuss and recommend an action plan under each of the South Tees Carers’ Strategy themes. The five themes are based on local and national priorities set out in the government's National Carers' Action Plan 2018-2020.
Forum members and any external agencies or organisations with an interest, expertise and experience around these themes are encouraged to attend, as well as Carers or Carers’ Groups representatives.

Individuals and organisations interested in attending can register their interest in advance for one or more task groups with Declan Baharini, who will be an independent chair and facilitate these discussions on behalf of the South Tees Commissioning Project Group.
There will be a second round of task and finish groups in January, if required, to complete any discussions and recommendations, before the full Forum meets again in February 2021 and the Carers’ Strategy and Action Plans are finalised. These will inform the joint commissioning process.
