Cash for Kids funding for sports groups working with children

Tees Valley Community Foundation and TFM Cash for Kids have teamed up once again to make a difference in our region!

They are looking for local sports groups who work with children under the age of 18 who are in need of funding.  All you have to do is apply via a short form with details of how much the group needs and what it’s for.
10 will be chosen and then given a few weeks to fundraise as much as they can, with a target of at least £2,500.  Cash for Kids and Tees Valley Community Foundation will then match that fundraising for all groups up to another £2,500, so you could end up with a grant back of £5,000!  They'll also be granting an additional £500 each to the group with the best social media interaction, the group that has the most creative fundraising idea and the group that illustrates the best team work.
Whichever group raises the most money will also win extra match funding of up to £5,000, and Steve and Karen will throw a party with all the finalists to celebrate!

This is not about kids not having the latest football boots, tennis racquets or the most up to date strips. This is about kids not being able to afford to take part in sports.  All applications will be judged on how they aim to make a difference to disadvantaged children under 18 in their area.  They'll give every finalist group their own online fundraising page and support with their activities, so you won't be going it alone!

Please register by clicking here to get involved and good luck! Entries close at 12noon on Monday 16 September.
