We are here to support, promote and develop voluntary and community action in Middlesbrough

Affordable Warmth Advisor

Would you like to join our vibrant team helping local people reduce their use of energy and their utility bills?

We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced person to join us, providing general home energy advice and support to communities across South Tees, with a focus on working with residents across Redcar & Cleveland.  The post holder will be required to work on a one-to-one basis using a range of methods and venues, initially developing appropriate methods to support beneficiaries remotely. However, in the future, you will also be required to adapt to working in a range of community venues and people’s homes as appropriate.

In addition, the post holder will design and deliver a remote training package to front-line staff and community organisations, raising awareness of the issue of fuel poverty.

With previous experience of providing one-to-one advice and delivering training in community settings, you will be person focussed with a commitment to delivering excellent person-centred service.  Having some previous experience in home energy advice is important, however additional appropriate training can be provided.

If you feel that you have the skills and attributes for this position, then we would like to hear from you! To download an application form, look below this post. For more information, email info@menvcity.org.uk
