Youth & Families Services Manager (Maternity Cover)
A Way Out is experiencing an exciting period service development and we are seeking to recruit a dynamic and experienced Service Manager to cover maternity leave of up to a period of 12 months. The Service Manager will lead our youth and families services, co-ordinating and developing existing service deliver and seeking out new opportunities for growth across the Tees Valley area.
A Way Out is an outreach and prevention charity aiming to engage, empower and equip vulnerable and excluded women, families and young people to live lives free from harm, abuse and exploitation and to reduce life limiting choices and behaviour.
The post holder will head-up and lead A Way Out's Youth & Family services, co-ordinating and developing existing service delivery and seeking out new opportunities for growth across the Tees Valley area. A Way Out’s Youth and Families services briefly comprise:
Youth Service working with children aged 8-14 years providing a safe environment in which children experiencing social and emotional difficulties can learn new skills, practise positive behaviour and build self-confidence and competency.
Family Service working with the whole family in an intensive and motivational way, supporting and empowering disadvantaged families to discover new skills and confidence and to build resilience to effect sustainable positive change.
