Liberty Women’s Project Crisis & Project Support
We are seeking to recruit to a key role of Crisis & Project Support role to provide support to the Women’s Project (Liberty) team. This opportunity has arisen due to organisational expansion and internal promotion. The Crisis and Project Support role will include being the first point of contact for Liberty clients presenting in crisis; supporting the delivery of daytime and evening outreach and recovery programmes; planning group wellness sessions for client drop-ins; providing data reporting support to Team Leader and managers; meeting and building relationships with vulnerable women, whilst holding a small case load.
A Way Out’s Liberty women’s project consists of an outreach and a recovery program, aiming to engage women aged 18+, with various needs. The projects prime focus is on tackling and addressing sexual exploitation/prostitution and the wide range of associated issues i.e. substance misuse, homelessness etc. It aims to provide clear pathways and improve access to key services such as sexual health for women involved in sex work both on and off street.
The project includes evening and late night outreach, low threshold drop-ins, group work and one to one support, intending to enhance the lifestyles of women, whilst widening their long-term aspirations.
The employment is initially offered for a period of 12 months.
