Senior Practitioner – Financial Wellbeing
18.5 hours per week
Salary £12,575 per annum (£25,150 pro-rata)
Carers Together Foundation is an organisation dedicated to improving carers’ quality of life. We listen to carers, give them a voice, provide information, practical and emotional support and promote carers’ rights across the South Tees area.
We are seeking an experienced practitioner to provide a range of information and support services to carers, including carers assessments and the production of support plans. The postholder will identify and support carers who are currently, or are at risk of, experiencing poverty or financial exclusion. The postholder will also provide specialist money management advice and support based on carers needs.
To succeed in this role, applicants must have:
- An understanding of the issues facing financially excluded people and the ability to work proactively to help resolve their financial situation.
- A successful track record of providing advice and support to vulnerable people and working in a multi-agency environment.
- Up to date knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance as it relates to carers.
This role is based between our offices in the TAD Centre, Middlesbrough and Kirkleatham Business Park in Redcar and the postholder must be able to travel between the two sites, and to other locations in the community including the homes of clients.
