Middlesbrough Environment City (MEC) is an independent charity that promotes healthy and sustainable lifestyles using the ten principles of One Planet Living. We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic Project Coordinator to support and lead in the delivery of our CommUNITY Actions project. The project will work with partner organisations and the wider community to develop community leadership and support changes locally including the environmental, community and individual level.
You will be responsible for the day to day management of the CommUNITY Actions project including planning, staff supervision, monitoring of outcomes, liaison with partner organisations and evaluation. The post holder will take an asset-based community development approach, engaging with and working alongside communities living in Middlesbrough to co-produce community led activities, bringing communities together building social cohesion and resilience, supporting healthier lifestyles and creating sustainable change through community action.
