Fixed Term: To January 2023 (extension dependent on funding)
Full Time: 37 hpw
Location: North East England (could be based from our Gateshead and/or Middlesbrough offices)
Salary: £26,750.00 per annum
We have an exciting opportunity, through the North East Youth Alliance, for you to join us in our new role of Programme and Partnerships Manager for the Youth Endowment Fund - Peer Action Collective. This is an outstanding opportunity to really make your mark, supporting us in delivering a Peer Research and Social Action Network. This programme will put young people in the lead, designing and conducting research into their peers’ experiences of violence and working together to take action and shape solutions. With the support of Delivery Partners, across our region, young people will have the opportunity to decide what matters to them when it comes to violence in their area and conduct research with other young people. They will then be supported to take what they learn and turn it into action through social action projects.
A bit about you.
You’ll be analytical with an eye for detail, have excellent report writing and presentations skills, be able to manage competing priorities and work to tight deadlines.
You’ll bring experience in the youth sector and multi partnership delivery, alongside an excellent understanding of youth voice and social action initiatives.
You’ll work collaboratively and really impress us with your ability to build and maintain great working relationships with a range of partners and stakeholders.
We are looking for someone who has a passion for working with young people to achieve real change and understands how to build and maintain effective relationships. If you are confident that you are the right candidate for this role but don’t quite meet 100% of the criteria, be bold, apply anyway!
