This role is part of a new project that will support mothers experiencing mental health difficulties and help them find ways to cope and improve their wellbeing. The project will work with women from preconception to baby’s 2nd birthday.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about women’s mental health and who can relate to mothers experiencing mental health difficulties. We also know that mothers from Black, Asian and ethnically diverse communities receive less support than others, and we will be prioritising these women in this project.
In this role, you will work as part of our team working closely with GP practices and community organisations, offering one-to-one support to mothers based on their individual strengths. You will also help mothers participate in group activities and peer support. You may have worked in a similar support role or have transferable skills from other work or volunteering. We are able to provide training and support.
