Housing First Support Workers (2)
New Walk CIC and Community Campus 87 have embarked on a new exciting partnership alongside Hartlepool Borough Council to provide accommodation and high levels of support to rough sleepers or those at risk of rough sleeping based on the principles of Housing First.
The successful candidates will be required to provide a person centred, flexible, trauma informed support service to support clients to create long term sustainable tenancies and improve their quality of life. Project workers will be supporting nine individuals (each) who may be addressing a range of potential of issues e.g. substance misuse, poor mental health, history of offending, repeat homelessness and negative social networks.
We are looking for people who, not only have the relevant skills and experience but also have the passion and commitment to make a truly positive impact on the people we will house and support
The post is funded until March 2025.
Full-time 37.5 hours per week
Salary £22000 - £23000
Location will be Hartlepool
Employment will be subject to a DBS check and satisfactory references
