We are currently seeking to recruit 2 Full Time enthusiastic and suitably experienced Supported Housing and Resettlement Worker's (Tenancy Support Worker) to join our existing Team in Middlesbrough and Stockton On Tees. The successful applicant will need to be able to develop positive professional relationships with clients with a broad range of support needs. We accommodate and support young people aged 16 - 18, care leavers and adults from diverse backgrounds who can sometimes be hard to reach.
The ideal candidate will be client focused, have good organisational and people skills, be able to demonstrate the ability to adapt to situations and have a flexible approach. Additionally you will also need to think creatively, be solution focused and use your own initiative. You should have the ability to manage your own caseload and time effectively as well as work effectively as part of the team.
We are looking for committed people who are able to work in a fast-paced environment as part of the team and also on their own using their initiative.
You will have experience of providing intensive housing management alongside support planning, risk assessments and have sound knowledge of relevant legislation. Most importantly, you should have the drive and desire to make positive changes.
You will be required to be On Call 1 week in approx 8 weeks, £40 per night.
This is a full time post 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Employment will be subject to a Clear, Enhanced D.B.S Certificate (ideally you will be on the Update Service allowing for an immediate start) and satisfactory references.
