£32,000 per annum, 3% cost of living increase per year subject to funding. Plus 38 days annual leave per year, inclusive of bank holidays.

Are you passionate and determined to shape support services making a difference to the lives of children, young people and families?
We require a dynamic, engaging and driven Head of Development who is a passionate advocate for the charity and who can engage with a variety of stakeholders to maximise the positive impact the charity has on the lives of children, young people and families.
The Head of Development works within the Core Services Team and is line managed by the Deputy Chief Executive. You will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and Operational Management Team which are valuable sources of support. Working alongside the Chief Executive and Deputy Chief Executive you will lead on generating income from grants, trusts and contracts to enable the vital work we do.
You will establish and maintain highly effective relationships with funders, commissioners and other key stakeholders as well as being responsible for planning and achieving income generation targets.
You will be creative, organised, thorough and determined in supporting the organisation to achieve its Mission.
Homeworking, office working or a blend of both is negotiable, regular travel to The Junction’s head office in Redcar is expected as is a willingness and ability to meet deadlines which may require weekend of evening working from time to time.
Observations of The Junction’s support services are encouraged to gauge a true understanding of the impact of your work, support services operate between the core hours of 7:30am-8pm Monday to Saturday.
