Nepacs is a regional charity which supports positive futures for prisoners and their families.
We are seeking to recruit a Family Support Worker based at HMP Kirklevington Grange. The successful candidate will work in conjunction with prison and other partner agencies.
As a Family Support Worker you will deliver 1:1 casework and focus groups to aid in building and maintaining family ties, whilst ensuring appropriate community support is in place prior to release. Working closely with Nepacs colleagues, you will also deliver our Heading Home programme to promote family ties and to support resettlement through activities, such as special family visits.
Applicants should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; experience of working with families and disadvantaged groups in a multi-agency environment and a relevant degree or qualification in social care and a passion for making a difference.
