Job Title: Emotional Wellbeing Coordinator (Hartlepool Cared for Children and Young People)
Salary: £27,220 pro rata per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Responsible to: Service Manager – Emotional Wellbeing
The Junction are a respected charity striving to make a difference to the lives of local children, young people and their families across the Tees Valley. Originally founded in 1991 we have a long history of supporting some of the most vulnerable people in our community and we are looking for passionate and committed people to join our team to support the life changing work we do.
We are one of the largest local charities supporting children and young people with an annual income of over £1million and a workforce of over 50 passionate professionals, from a range of backgrounds, working across our 4 sites.
Each year we support over 2000 children, young people and their families through an array of services, including: Young Carers’ Services, Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing Services, Youth Employment Services, Youth Work – Social Action and Participation Services and we provide a specialist transport service exclusively for children and young people.

Join our Team
We are looking for a suitably qualified and exceptional person with a focus on trauma informed practice with the ability, resilience, commitment and passion to support cared for children and young people in Hartlepool.
Based in the Through Care Team in Hartlepool Borough Council the successful candidate will coordinate the provision of emotional wellbeing support for cared for children and young people up to the age of 25 years, managing the teams time to effectively respond to need and demand.
The successful candidate will have the ability to build trusting professional relationships with children and young people as well as the ability to develop, coordinate and communicate plans for care with a range of stakeholders, while ensuring the values of The Junction and aspirations of delivering a responsive service are met. Additional training and development opportunities will be offered to the right candidate to enable them to lead on a truly responsive, outcome focused service.
