The Trustee Board is seeking applications for a new leader – someone with the verve, creativity and professional experience to drive forward the further development of the charity’s high quality work in tackling poverty and supporting local communities to thrive and flourish across the two boroughs of Middlesbrough and Redcar & Cleveland. For further information see: https://togethermc.org.uk
We are looking for someone who has empathy with the needs of people experiencing multiple deprivation, and who understands the critical role played by faith-based social action – who is able to act both strategically, but when required, willing to step in and directly help deliver.
The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with the Board of Trustees and provide strong strategic and operational leadership as the charity continues to develop our highly successful track record, and respond creatively to the financial challenges currently faced by the voluntary sector more generally. We are currently finalising Together Middlesbrough & Cleveland’s five year business plan; and have several significant developments underway.
The post is 0.8 full time equivalent, on the basis of variable and flexible hours.
Interviews for shortlisted candidates: Late January / Early February.
We look forward to receiving your application form and aim to contact you within 4 days of the closing date to say whether we are inviting you to interview.
