Carers Together Foundation is an organisation dedicated to improving carers' quality of life. We listen to carers, give them a voice, provide information, practical and emotional support and promote Carers' rights across the South Tees area.
We are seeking a Carers Information and Support Worker to respond to day-to-day casework queries, providing information and support to carers and other family members. Working in partnership with voluntary and statutory sector services in health and social care the role will promote service provision and social inclusion for carers.
To succeed in this role, applicants must have knowledge and experience of providing information and support to vulnerable people, experience of carrying out assessments and support planning with clients and have an understanding of the issues affecting carers.
This role is based at our offices in Middlesbrough and Redcar and the postholder will be required to travel to and from work in other community settings.
