The Junction is recruiting for our Children and Young People’s Specialist Transport Service.
The Junction is a respected charity striving to make a difference to the lives of local children, young people and their families across Middlesbrough and Redcar & Cleveland. Originally founded in 1991 we have a long history of supporting some of the most vulnerable people in our community and we are looking for passionate and committed people to join our team to support the life changing work we do.
We are one of the largest local charities supporting children and young people with an annual income of over £1million and a workforce of over 50 passionate professionals, from a range of backgrounds, working across our 4 sites.
Each year we support over 2000 children, young people and their families through an array of services, including: Young Carers’ Services, Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing Services, Youth Employment Services, Youth Work – Social Action and Participation Services and we provide a specialist transport service exclusively for children and young people.
BANK DRIVER
We are looking for a reliable, flexible and dedicated individual to join our team of bank drivers as part of our Transport Services. You will be responsible for transporting children and young people to and from locations across the Tees Valley as directed, in a safe and professional manner. If you want to work as part of a team dedicated to improving access and opportunities for children and young people, we would like to hear from you.
HOURLY RATE: £8.652, plus 3% increment increase per annum subject to funding and satisfactory performance
HOURS: Variable
CONTRACT TYPE: Zero Hours
RESPONSIBLE TO: Charity Business Manager
