Our Retail Charity Shops make an important contribution to income generation in support of our hospice services.
We have an exciting opportunity, working 3 days per week across our 12 charity shops to provide holiday and absence relief cover.
The successful candidate must have an understanding of the Retail sector, be customer focused and commercially aware, with the ability to maximise shop sales and profits. To succeed in this role a positive outlook and can do attitude is essential, along with great communication and IT skills and the ability to motivate a team of volunteers.
Reporting to the Deputy Head of Retail, candidates must be flexible to work in any of the Teesside Hospice Charity Shops to provide cover where needed. You will need to be available to work weekends, including Sundays and have flexibility to work extra shifts as required.
This is a temporary position for 6 months. If you have worked in the Retail sector before but not in the Charity Retail sector, this will provide you with a great insight and valuable experience for future opportunities.
