Located: Primrose Lodge Rehabilitation Unit, Durham Road, Chesterle-Street, DH3 3JX, with community work in County Durham Salary:
PCP Band 5 Point 9, £21,136 per annum Term: Fixed until 31st March 2022 Holidays: 27 days holidays per annum
We are seeking a Activity Development Worker to join our team at Primrose Lodge Rehabilitation Unit, to make a real difference and support and inspire those with complex mental health needs. The ideal candidate will be able to respond to challenging situations through established organisational skills, whilst focusing on solutions through coordinated recovery targeted activities. You must have proven experience of working with and caring for vulnerable people, whilst promoting and delivering activities that focus on health and wellbeing. This role will see you create and implement activities that follow inpatient guidance and shape people’s lives. This role will see the right candidate work alongside an established team, who go above and beyond to rehabilitate patients, whilst offering therapeutic support for recovery. The Primrose Lodge Rehabilitation Unit is a mixed sex rehabilitation ward with 15 beds, based in Chester-le-Street.
