A small working group of disabled people have brought the creation of an authentic influencing organisation nearer to existence. At a forthcoming meeting at the International Centre, Middlesbrough topics being discussed include funding for disabled people themselves to decide (co-producing) the details of the organisation and the potential branding (logo etc).
Disabled people and organisations who represent them are encouraged to attend to hear the progress achieved thus far and be involved in future work and decisions.
