We welcome your content to share with our audiences through our website and ebulletin. Here are some guidelines to help you with what to send and where. We also recommend reading 'How to make your content more shareable' from our friends at Connected Voice.
Outlook Ebulletin
Main audience: VCS staff and local stakeholders, with 600+ subscribers
Outlook is our fortnightly ebulletin covering news, training and events, jobs and resources for VCOs in Middlesbrough - subscribe here. We also have a limited amount of space to share local VCS news.
If you have something of relevance to our mainly VCS audience, please drop an email with a maximum 150 words to carrie.brookes@mvdauk.org.uk. You can include an image and any links or downloads for further information. We ask you not to send fundraising campaigns which are normally aimed at the general public. We also reserve the right not to include your submission, which may be due to space/relevance, but will always let you know if this is the case.
Event posters/image files?
If you have a photo or event poster, please send it to us. But bear in mind that images alone without supporting text are not accessible for two reasons - for people who have sight loss and use screen readers to read out text, and for staff at MVDA and other organisations having to type out the text from the poster/image. Thanks in advance.
Holding an event or training?
We can share your events or training courses for the VCS through our Outlook Ebulletin and on our website. We ask that you submit your event using our online form found at www.mvda.info/events (look for 'Advertise your Event' link). You'll be asked to create an online account which is very quick, then just fill in the form and we'll check and approve your event to go live on our site. This means it will also be considered for Outlook ebulletin.
Got a job or trustee role to advertise?
We'll advertise your job or trustee role for free on our website and in our Outlook ebulletin. As above, go to www.mvda.info/jobs and fill in the form to submit your job/role.
Got a volunteering role to promote?
Get in touch with our Volunteering Academy - visit I Need Volunteers - to promote your opportunities through their regular ebulletin and online.
