Back in June Sue Kearney from the Hope Foundation wrote a blog for MVDA with a plea to work together to help get basic digital access for Middlesbrough residents. Three areas were identified:
- Lack of technical/digital skills
- Having the right kit/ devices
- Data and connectivity
Following this and further discussions the first steering group meeting was held on 6th August with lots of progress made. Michelle Dawson from Ageing Better Middlesbrough has posted an update which is encouraged to be shared, with details of the next steering group meeting.
