National Lottery Community Fund - Emerging Futures Fund

The Fund aims to give communities and civil society organisations ‘the space, resource and additional expertise to step back [from COVID-19] and ask questions, imagine alternatives and gather to shape the emerging future’. Grants of between £20,000 and £50,000 are available.

The funding is to be used for communities to explore the following questions and then help shape what should be done next to support communities:

  • Exploring new narratives, perspectives and community storytelling. The funding is for projects that can create narratives that:
  • Look at the stories emerging from them pandemic, to find out who, or what, needs to be focussed on more.
  • Explore new kinds of relationships that have formed in response to COVID-19.

The application form and guidance notes are available from the National Lottery Community Fund website.

The completed form should be submitted by email (emergingfuturesfund@tnlcommunityfund.org.uk) before 5pm on Thursday 25 June 2020.

Art Fund Respond and Reimagine Grants

The Art Fund is providing Respond and Reimagine grants to help museums, galleries and cultural organisations respond to immediate challenges connected to the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis, and offer support to adapt and reimagine ways of working for the longer-term future.

These grants can provide practical support to fund what applicants need now. If an organisation is experiencing an immediate crisis with no alternative sources of funding, The Art Fund can consider offering emergency support to help organisations manage during this difficult period.

Grants of between £10,000 and £50,000 are available.

The Art Fund will consider offering 100% funding.

There are three funding rounds. The application deadline for:

  • Round 1 is 6 July 2020 with a decision by 31 July 2020.
  • Round 2 is 17 August 2020 with a decision by 21 September 2020.
  • Round 3 is 12 October 202 with a decision by 9 November 2020.
