In these unprecedented times, our communities will need to pull together and help each other out like never before. We have seen a huge groundswell of goodwill and community spirit so far with wonderful stories of support. In terms of MVDA's role, we are taking a lead in coordinating this community response to COVID-19 under the banner of #BoroResponse
Our first step is to have created a webpage of useful advice and information for anyone involved in helping respond to the COVID-19 outbreak in Middlesbrough. It contains help and support for organisations, signposting to what's happening locally on the ground, and information around volunteering.
It will be continually updated, and we recommend you also sign up for our ebulletins which will become more frequent as necessary. You can also contact us with information at boro.response@mvdauk.org.uk or tag us on Twitter @MVDANews and use the hashtag #BoroResponse
Our staff are working hard reaching out to groups to gather all the activity going on, but do let us know of what's happening too - you check our staff page for contact details.
