Children wanted for focus group on strategy

Children North East is being commissioned to develop a Working Together Strategy for the North East and North Cumbria Child Health and Wellbeing Network. They want to ensure that children are at the heart of all of the projects being undertaken and to address this is consulting with Children and Young People to gather their views on all of the priority areas.

They are looking for a range of different organisations across the region who work with children and young people and would allow them to host a focus group session where the young people will be asked to share their views about each of the seven priority areas. This is a really great opportunity for young people to have a meaningful discussion and to shape and influence the work undertaken by the network and it is vital that we have a comprehensive range of responses.

If you work with children and young people and would be interested in hosting one of our practitioners to host a focus group please get in touch by email at Georgina.burt@children-ne.org.uk or calling 07809 215385. There is no commitment to take part at this stage as they are currently just scoping interest with the expectation that the consultation with selected groups will start at the beginning of March.
