Matrix Neurological is a lived-experience led, pioneering charity that helps children and young people living with an acquired brain injury caused by an accident or illness. We also provide practical, emotional and peer support to their families.
Due to additional funding, we are expanding our highly skilled team. We are looking for patient, supportive, resilient and dynamic individuals with a mature outlook. You must be passionate about helping children and young people to succeed and have good long term outcomes, by maximising their skills and personal development through the provision of innovative non-clinical interventions.
We are looking for a Family Support Worker to support and mentor parents carers of children and young people living with acquired brain injuries, many of whom have experienced significant psychological trauma, and/or been diagnosed with or showing signs of PTSD or other mental health issues.
