The National Lottery Community Fund has awarded Teesside Stroke Club a grant of £74,000 recently with thanks given to our fundraising officer John Atkinson.

After the success of the Council's first-ever Civic Community Awards in 2019, nominations for this year's awards open on Monday 27 January 2020.

We're looking for individuals, community organisations, and businesses who have made a real difference to life in Middlesbrough.

Knife Crime Awareness Event

Middlesbrough Council is hosting an event to raise awareness of the effects that knife crime can have on families and how early intervention can help to change this culture by working with parents, carers and professionals. It will help them fully understand the risk factors and the dangers of young people being exposed to gang culture and carrying knives.
