This 2.5 hour awareness training is for anyone who would like a brief introduction to understanding the needs of children and families impacted by a relative's imprisonment and some information on where to access support and information.
By the end of the session you will:
- Understand the impact of imprisonment on prisoners’ families
- Understand the support needs of prisoners’ families
- Understand the needs and wishes of prisoners’ families
- Have an increased awareness of the range of resources available for people working with children and families of prisoners.
