Middlesbrough Council's Executive will meet next Tuesday (10 April) where the agenda includes consideration of the Tender Pipeline for the current financial year, listing 113 planned procurement activities/projects. This includes 21 (of 50) procurements from the previous year that were delayed and have been carried forward as part of the current year.
The Pipeline covers many aspects of the Council's responsibilities, with many that are likely to be of interest to local VCOs. The document provides a project name, a brief description of the service, an anticipated publish date (which is subject to change) and an indication of the expected procurement route. Following approval by the Executive, the Tender Pipeline will be added to the Council's website by 30 April and will be a 'live document' thereafter.
In addition, at this meeting, the Executive is being asked to:
- approve the revised Procurement Strategy for the period 2024-26 (replacing the former three-year strategy); and
- adopt the new Social Value Charter.
