Acquired Brain Injury support worker

Acquired Brain Injury Support Worker (Mental Health and Wellbeing)

£12.52 per hour or £16,276 p/a     £24,088 f/t equivalent)  

Hours: 20-25 per week

The role is to provide 1-1 emotional and development support to children and young people living with the effects of an acquired brain injury.  Working as part of a pioneering support team, you will provide stimulating fun activities that will prioritise poor mental wellbeing, low self esteem and self-belief and assist with the ongoing sensory, cognitive, communication, social, emotional and behavioural development of these highly vulnerable young people.  You will have experience of successfully working directly with and engaging disadvantaged children and young people with disabilities, including learning and behavioural difficulties.
