Remote working, part time/full-time roles
ARCH Teesside is looking for skilled, passionate, and professional Helpline Support Workers.
ARCH is working in partnership with Rape Crisis England & Wales to deliver a 24-hour helpline for survivors of sexual violence. The service will provide high-quality, trauma-informed telephone and webchat support and signposting information to survivors of non-recent and recent sexual violence across England and Wales.
We are looking for women with excellent communication skills and the ability to provide non-judgemental, non-directive and empowering support to every caller. Successful candidates will have experience in providing emotional support on a helpline, a good knowledge and understanding of sexual violence and its impacts and a willingness to work some weekends.
The post is open to female applicants only as being female is deemed to be a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010 for this role.
