Guisborough Bridge Association are recruiting for a manager.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Board of Trustees
HOURS PER WEEK:
The Guisborough Bridge Association is a Christian charity providing support to the community of Guisborough and the surrounding area. Established as a community project by Churches Together in Guisborough, we aim to respond to local needs with projects for both young and old. We operate in a non-discriminatory way and deal with agencies of the Government, Local Authorities, voluntary organisations and other relevant organisations. The Bridge operates in alignment with the objectives of the Churches Together in Guisborough to advance Christianity.
The post of Manager has been created to lead the development of the charity.
KEY FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
Coordinate activities and liaise with stakeholders (staff, trustees, volunteers, donors and supporters)
Provide strong leadership and direction
Ensure standards are maintained through effective and efficient working
Attract funding, volunteers and support
Publicise and promote The Bridge
Be directly involved with certain projects and maintain an overview of the wider delivery of Bridge projects
