This year's 2022 event is a two (2) day interactive & empowering celebration event to promote culture and diversity.
OurAfrica4u in collaboration with Save the Woman Awards took place in the City of Middlesbrough as part of the Commonwealth for Africa 2020, and on the 21st August 2021, Queen Esther Nonyelum Osakwe, one of the Directors of Save The Woman was crowned "Miss Commonwealth for Africa 2021/2022.
Here we come again, as we are aspiring to keep it fun, more exciting, engaging and inclusive. This year event is powered by Save The Woman in partnership with KINGSREALM PRAYER MINISTRIES (INTERDENOMINATIONAL)

This year's 2022 event is a two (2) day interactive and empowering event as a retreat for stakeholders and all parties concerned with the journey of rebuilding homes and support of African families within the UK. Our guests will be travelling from Ireland, Scotland, Bradford, London, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Newcastle, Oxford. Day 2 : Saturday 19th March 2022 - Cultural & Awards
Special presentation on Child Protection and Safeguarding, particularly issues around Section 20, Section 17 assessment and Section 47 investigation enquiry to educate the communities in the UK.

Who are we?
•We are registered organisation in England and Wales, an African led organisation operating in Nigeria and the UK. Save the Woman is based in Middlesbrough, North East, England charged with the task of providing or set up for the sole purpose of:
- Advocacy support and Skills empowerment for incarcerated and ex-offending females based in Nigeria and UK.
- As an extension we are currently supporting the work in Teesside University to build and enrich students life through business development and entrepreneurial studies.
- In November 2018, STW supported the launch of the African and African-Caribbean Network at Teesside University, we also organised a ‘Commonwealth for Africa’ Conference 2019 & 2020.
