We have a fantastic opening for you to join our friendly team in the role of Lead Youth Worker.
Due to a number of exciting developments, we are seeking to employ the right person to lead on the delivery, development and evaluation of a range of youth work delivery, and community related projects, to promote the personal, education and social development of young people. We are looking for a motivated, well organised and committed youth worker with experience of working within an informal environment, to achieve positive change. This is a great opportunity to really make your mark; the post holder will have the ability to spot and develop new opportunities and approaches to grow our work, as well as develop their own knowledge and skill set. Candidates will need excellent communication skills and the ability to join a talented and enthusiastic team of staff and young people. Understanding and ensuring quality youth work practice is a prerequisite of the role.
A bit about you.
You’ll bring experience in the youth sector, alongside an excellent understanding of youth voice and high quality youth work.
You’ll be well organised, have excellent report writing and presentations skills, be able to manage competing priorities and work to tight deadlines.
The successful candidate will be a dynamic youth worker with experience of working with young people in a range of settings, supporting them to create lasting change in their lives and to positively influence the world around them.
If you are confident that you are the right candidate for this role but don’t quite meet 100% of the criteria, be bold, apply anyway!
