Our Middlesbrough-based rehab is rated CQC Outstanding.
Our Trauma Support Service
It is common for people accessing help for their substance misuse problems to be affected by other co-occurring conditions often leading to a co-morbidity of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression or Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. The impact of this can be biological, psychological and social. As such we have partnered with My Sisters Place, to provide a Trauma Support Service. The Trauma Support Service provides psychological therapies and resilience programmes to individuals who have experienced trauma and problematic drug and alcohol use. The service will work alongside Recovery Connections across in both our Middlesbrough and Gateshead services.
An opportunity has arisen within our Trauma Support Service for a Trauma Support Service Lead Practitioner who will have a caseload in addition to overseeing the planning, implementation and overall performance of the project. This vacancy is a grant funded role (renewal subject to funding).
