Community Development Co-ordinators will work with stakeholders and the community to maximise the support and networks available to customers. Helping to identify and create new groups, and nurture existing ones, they will support communities at the grass roots level, building local connections and collaborating with like-minded organisations.
Taking an asset-based approach, you will work with the community to utilise and connect them to services in the local area. Using your local knowledge, you will identify gaps in provision and liaise with the community, stakeholders and funders to develop sustainable solutions which promote resilience. You’ll also support the capture of outcomes so we can evidence the impact of our work and assist in the development of a volunteer community ambassador programme.
