The Other Perspective is a community interest company focussing on support for BAME communities including refugee and asylum seeker across the North East region. As part of the Climate Action Middlesbrough partnership we will facilitate reductions in the town’s carbon footprint through a combination of practical initiatives to reduce carbon emissions and creation of a well-informed and culturally diverse social movement supportive of tackling the climate crisis. We are currently recruiting a Part-time Project Worker to engage with and increase participation of people from BAME backgrounds, and ensure their voices are represented when climate change policy decisions are made locally.
Job Title Project Worker, Climate Action Middlesbrough (3 years contract)
Salary band £22,000 p.a. Full time equivalent
Hours 25 hrs p.w. initially, and reducing to 18.5 hrs p.w. from October 2021
Location TOP venues and various locations around Middlesbrough.
