Administration & Resource Assistant - (Initially 18 months fixed term contract as this role is funding dependent)
9 hours per week £8.50 per hour
Matrix Neurological is an innovative charity based in Middlesbrough that exists to help remove inequalities for children and young people living with an acquired brain injury. We also provide practical and emotional peer support to their families.
Due to gaining some additional funding to expand our innovative team, we are looking for 4 dynamic and highly motivated individuals. You must be passionate about helping children and young people to recover following a brain injury, by maximising their skills and personal development through provision of non-clinical interventions. 2 posts will work as outreach and 2 are office-based support roles.
You will have experience of person-centred support, be compassionate and understanding; possess excellent communication and administration skills and be experienced in working with disadvantaged children and young people with behavioural difficulties.
You do not need experience of acquired brain injury in children and young people as training will be provided; however it would be an advantage.
This role is to effectively control assets within the charity’s resource library and provide assistance and administrative support to the Children and Young People’s Support Team. You will have experience of managing excel databases and will be based within the charity office.
All these posts are subject to either an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (EDBS) check or a Disclosure and Barring service check (DBS) and will commence in January 2021.
