Nepacs is a regional charity which supports positive futures for prisoners and their families.
Nepacs has been awarded National Lottery Community Fund grant to develop an exciting new project over the next three years to improve advice and support for prisoners and their families when they first come into custody.
We are seeking to recruit one prison-based Family Support Worker will deliver 1:1 case work support, acting as a bridge between people in custody and the community and ensuring that there is additional support provided for those visiting a prison for the first time.
All applicants will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to work in partnership with a range of agencies at both strategic and operational service level, a good understanding of safeguarding issues, and a relevant qualification and/or experience in social care or equivalent and a passion for making a difference.
