Are you enthusiastic and organsied?
Would you like to see children and young people thrive?
This is an exciting opportunity to help serve the children, young people and families of North Ormesby, taking on a highly rewarding role.
Trinity Youth and Children’s Project, (TYCP) was set up to educate and assist the children and young people of North Ormesby, Middlesbrough, to develop their physical, mental, social, and spiritual capacities in order that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society, and to support their parents and carers in order that their conditions of life may be improved.
We run a variety of children, family and youth work activities and projects for young people designed to engage and inspire them, building their confidence and skillset to help them begin their journey towards adulthood.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Youth Development Worker.
What’s our mission?
According to official statistics, North Ormesby is a community with one of the highest rates of child poverty in the country, at 64%. North Ormesby can be a tough neighbourhood to grow up in. We seek to offer high qualify after school and holiday activities in a safe and nurturing environment.
Our mission is simple; the provision of positive activities to support young people towards prosperous futures. We place children and young people at the centre of our project, creating a space in which they feel safe and supported, enabling them to grow and flourish. The fun and engaging activities we run for young people empower them to build their confidence and their support networks, giving them friendships and skills which they can take forwards into bright futures
