VAQA award given to 4 organisations
We now have four organisations that have completed the Volunteering Academy Quality Award process. As of August 2024, the following organisations have successfully been assessed by VA staff to meet the standard required: Tees Valley Together, The Junction Foundation, Tees Hospice and FareShare North East (Middlesbrough).
The VAQA award helps organisations give volunteers assurances on the quality of their experience. The award is open to all Volunteer Involving Organisations who have a footprint in Middlesbrough. Find out more about applying for the award.

TeamKinetic launched in Middlesbrough for Volunteers Week 2024
TeamKinetic is our free tool to help you recruit, retain and recognise the impact of your volunteers and is fully funded by our Volunteering Academy project. You can register your organisation on it now.
TeamKinetic is already used all over the UK by volunteer-involving organisations including Liverpool FC Foundation, University of Northumbria at Newcastle and Durham County Council. Find out more about TeamKinetic. We worked with a few local organisations to test out the system, its features and ease of use, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive.
