We are here to support, promote and develop voluntary and community action in Middlesbrough

Volunteer Coordinators Forum

Do you work with volunteers in Middlesbrough?

Next Tuesday the Volunteering Academy is hosting its first volunteer coordinators forum of the year on 11th March, 10-12 at The Community Hub at Easterside.

The forum is for people who support volunteers and a chance to share best practice, learn from each other and network.

The guest speaker will be Drew Robinson from ACT Middlesbrough - Recovery Solutions sharing training around their new initiative 'Live Well Aware'.

Identification and Brief Advice (IBA) training is invaluable for volunteer coordinators and volunteers, helping to identify and address substance use concerns early.

Volunteers and volunteer coordinators can often interact with individuals facing substance-related challenges, making early intervention and signposting to support crucial.
