We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to develop our new Volunteering Academy and are looking for testers for two areas of work – a Quality Award and a new IT platform for managing your volunteers.
We are looking for six organisations interested in helping us to pilot test both these areas of work. You will benefit from free access to the IT platform and receive an award.
- The Volunteering Academy Quality Award (VAQA) involves an informal assessment process resulting in an award that validates their commitment to volunteers.
- The IT platform gives organisations taking part in testing FREE access to user-friendly software which enables you to recruit, train, engage and retain your volunteers in one centralised space.
To express your interest in either of the options please contact Lesley Spaven via email at lesley.spaven@mvdauk.org.uk.
We are also holding a face-to-face briefing session on Wednesday 11 October, 11am – 12 noon, venue to be confirmed, where you can find out more information on the development of the VA and the opportunity to be part of the pilot testing. If interested please hold the date and drop Lesley an email to express interest.
