NSPCC Learning has updated its website content on safeguarding and child protection for charity trustees in the UK. The content covers safeguarding policies and procedures including: governance and leadership; safer recruitment; managing allegations and incidents; and links to relevant legislation and guidance.
In addition, the latest episode of its child protection podcast series focuses on how charity trustees can work with managers to keep children and young people safe. The podcast discusses the relationship between trustees and managers in keeping children safe; the responsibilities of trustees in safeguarding children and young people; the link between good governance and safeguarding; and what regulatory bodies say about safeguarding responsibilities.
